  1. I need your input…. I’ll be taking about some ways of using social media in the classroom, but I’d like to know what you know/use/think I’ve got a flashy powerpoint to show you, but we can scrap it if you like!!!! Question. Hands up if you use social media? Facebook? Twitter etc

Everyone has a digital camera, a mobile phone, video camera One person has a laptop – its webcam recording the event on video - streaming They won’t just be taking the pictures and putting them in photo albums.....they’ll share Where will the video and pictures end up? Ustream.tv, Qik, Youtube, Flickr, Twitter , Facebook, Myspace
  5. Today’s students are heavily involved in this aspect of the web Almost everyone has a mobile phone surgically attached to them They film the most trivial thing It’s uploaded to Youtube, Facebook, Myspace It’s remixed – a mashup
