5. Colossians 1:24
I am glad when I suffer for you
in my body, for I am completing
what remains of Christ’s
sufferings for his body, the
church. NLT

6. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10
We are pressed on every side

12. 2 Corinthians 1:5-7
You can be sure that the more
we suffer for Christ, the more
God will shower us with his
comfort through Christ. 6So
when we are weighed down
with troubles, it is for your
benefit and salvation!

13. For when God comforts us, it is
so that we, in turn, can be an
encouragement to you. Then
you can patiently endure the
same things we suffer. 7We are
confident that as you share in
suffering, you will also share
God’s comfort. NLT

14. 1 Peter 4:12-16
Dear friends, don’t be surprised
at the fiery trials you are going
through, as if something
strange were happening to you.

15. 13Instead, be very glad—
because these trials will make
you partners with Christ in his
sufferings, and afterward you
will have the wonderful joy of
