1. Describe what makes Utilize Consulting and Management Service different?
Utilized Consulting Services and Management Group (UCSMG) is a boutique firm focused on the
foundation of building the brand and streamlining the operational components necessary to drive the
business. We develop not only the business but also the professional behind the organization.
An organization that pushes creative and specialized management/leadership concepts that develop new
businesses for a successful life span while cultivating established business for the 21st
/22nd century.
UCSMG believes in the mission of each organization to continue growth, efficiency and effectiveness of
the company for years to come.
Did you start off with a clear focus of the type of customer service experience that you wanted to offer
your clients?
A clear message, lol! Yes, I have dreamt of this opportunity for many years. Offering boutique type
services is something that is near and dear to my heart. In order offer a pure driven customer service
UCSMG works directly with the owner, investing time and energy into a vision that establishes the
foundation of the business. Since 2001, I have focused on giving the organization the proper foundation
while enriching the client (organization) in order to grow beyond its limits.
Describe any marketing challenges that you faced at the inception of your company.
Since the inception, I have not really done any marketing. Our business is solely referral based, we do
minimal marketing because we focus on the client. As the business evolves, we may focus on reaching
out to the public to gain more clientele. However, when you offer exclusivity to the client it is hard to
take new clients that may offer the same thing. Understanding the boutique business, boutiques offer a
special item that only they can get from you. We are not mainstream consultants or managers. We are
directly focused on creating winning conceptual buildable plans that add value and bring change.
Only offering exclusivity allows you to do that on a daily basis. Since inception, that has always been
the only item of focus. To be different and great you will have to do things others are not willing to do to
make the greater impact.
The mantra that you created for your business (One Start, One Move, One Triumph) is very
empowering.
What is the motivation behind that mantra?
One Start- The ignite of creating the idea and sparking the flame.
One Move- The action behind the start. One can never start something without forward motion to
achieve.
One Triumph- The end of the movement. All the hurdles, trials and tribulations have been met and now
you are in the promise land.
How did you arrive? One Start, One Move, One Triumph…. I live by this statement everyday and
employ all to see, hear and feel the movement of what drives UTILIZE…

Do you put in more or less hours than initially anticipated?

3. This question is a hard one, I put more than expected but it’s still not enough for me. I lose sleep
daily thinking about each one of my clients’ goals and expectations that will take them even
further. I consistently do conference calls, meetings, strategy sessions, task calls, manage
employees, build operational structures and develop processes. All this with a variety of
deadlines for all of them, my end goal is being an asset to the team and developing the proper
goals, strategies, processes and documentation that continues the dream.
How do the social, economical, legal and political environments impact your business?
Social, legal, economic, and political environments always impact business on a daily basis.
UCSMG focuses on educating the organization on the right way to do things. This allows the
client to truly establish the business and drive the right train to success. We continually conduct
research, take classes and consult other subject matter experts to ensure we make the right
decision the first time.
What forecast do you have for your business over the next 10 years?
Over the next 10 years our plans are to acquire a variety of different businesses and continue to
grow to greater magnitudes. Currently holding five employees after two years of business is a
great accomplishment. An even greater accomplishment is the start of 2 other companies within
a five year term, adding five more employees and ten more clients is set as our ten year goal.
This company is like having my son all over again. The first 28 hours of labor were the hardest
thing to overcome. However, the everyday living is the blessing that only God can give you.
We as an organization and team have built the right relationships with the right people, with the
right direction in order to sustain the right growth. Ten years later the process will not change but
we grow more, branch out larger and essentially become a global name in developing not just
businesses but people.
