In order to start developing a rating system for the CoS, research was done on other types of rating systems, from well known rating systems to nonprofit organizations Each rating system was analyzed for its purpose, stakeholders, benefits and weaknesses Benefits were used to decide what would be important to include in a comprehensive rating system Weaknesses of each system were also important to understand to avoid the pitfalls of other rating systems
