Creating book buzz!
1. Creating Book Buzz!Using Displays to Increase Circulation and to Build a Reading Community. These slides were generated using pictures taken of the display ideas presented by Jill Bellomy during Staff Development, August 2010 jillbellomy@yahoo.com All pictures were taken by Lori Bierschwale and permission is given to use them to promote reading and create life long learners.

7. The Poetry display is a wooden box filled with styrofoam and foliage. The letters have been laminated onto scrapbook paper, cut into equal size squares attached to small dowel rods stuck through the foliage into the styrofoam.

9. Book cover image laminated onto cardstock the size appropriate to stand in the book stand. Jill uses this in place of the actual book in the book stand. Again, the call number is on the image.

19. Thank goodness the idea is better than the photography here…This is an example of an author biography folder with the author’s picture and name on the front and the biography info inside the folder.
