Bridget Kromhout gave a presentation at #devopsdays about the past, present and future of DevOps. She discussed how 10 years ago DevOps focused on breaking down silos between development and operations, but communication and organizational structure are still important today. She also addressed how DevOps has scaled up over the years through increased documentation and by aiming for minimum viable complexity. Looking ahead, Kromhout said technology and human factors will both be important in building complex, distributed systems of the future.
