2. Eric Himself
The world knows this popular country star as Eric
Church. However I would bet few know his real name
is Kenneth Eric Church. Eric was born in Granite
Falls, North Carolina on May 3, 1977. Eric has had a
passion for music at a very young age. At just 13 years
old, Eric bought his first guitar and began writing
songs of his own. By graduation, Eric was playing in a
local bar. In exchange for his degree in marketing from
Appalachian State University, his father paid for his
first six months in Nashville, and that’s where it all
began…

3. The Music Side…
Eric is a country music singer who finds inspiration to
write songs in many places. Eric has a passion for
music, which is so evident from his music. In
2006, Eric debuted his first album titled, Sinners like
Me. Eric released Carolina in March of 2009. In July of
2011, Eric released his most popular album, Chief
containing the greatest song ever, Springsteen. Chief
was album of the year in 2012, and Springsteen was
song of the year.

5. What do I think about Eric Church?
Where do I begin? In my opinion Eric Church is one of
the hottest up and coming country artists. I think he
produces more modern country, compared to Willie
Nelson or Hank Williams. I have seen Eric in concert
and he is one of the best performers I have seen, and
he’s better looking in person than the photos I chose
from the internet (too bad he’s married). I hope to see
him produce many more number one hits and
flourishes in his career. I think Springsteen is one of
the best popular country songs right now and I would
love to see Eric become even more popular and take off
his career.
