About 4FTBSYS
4FTBSYS IN ONE LINE; Design, Develop and Deliver
We are a company that is into façade Consultancy and engineering: working with different elements of nature
is our passion, making a facade perform and function is our motto.
We have taken upon ourselves the responsibility of making facades functional in terms of thermal Efficiency
apart from many other parameters as a major issue to deal with.
We specialized in pre-tender support, design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, delivery, installation in
Curtain wall, Building envelope(BES) and Roofing systems. With the goal of environment protection and energy
saving, We work on aluminum windows & doors, high-performance Building Skin Systems( glass, metal panel,

That meets specific professional needs. We are well positioned to source world’s best solutions from across the globe,
Covering many a niche disciplines.
Thermal Break Section:-
 A thermal break is also a load-bearing thermal insulation system used in reinforced concrete
structures to form a thermal break between cantilever structures and internal floor.
 Insulated glazing – the air or gas between the panes stops the conductive thermal energy
  from passing through the glass.
 Metal window or curtain wall framing –a separator material is used between the inner and
outer frames to prevent the temperature transfer through the frame and condensation on the
  inside frame.
 Concrete work – a single row of concrete masonry units (CMU block) is commonly set
between the inner concrete slab and Exterior concrete work, to prevent the transfer of heat
  or cold through the slab.
 Metal and wood framed buildings - an insulation material installed on the roof, walls and floor
prevents thermal Short circuit creating the heat transfer through the framing material and
controls when desired (winter/summer) Resulting in energy savings
 Metal windows and doors - separating the frame into two separate interior and exterior pieces joined with a less conductive
  material reduces temperature transfer.
 Thermal breaks (made of substantially rigid, low thermal conductive polyurethane which is mechanically locked in aluminum
window framing can be more than a thousand times less conductive than aluminum and a hundred times less than steel.
 Windows and doors - separating the frame into 2 separate interior and exterior pieces joined with a less conductive material
between reduces temperature transfer. In addition thermal breaks can have the added benefit of reducing sound transmittance by
  dampening vibration

Double Skin Façade: - The Double-skin facade is a system of building consisting of two skins placed in such a way that air flows
in the intermediate cavity. The ventilation of the cavity can be natural, fan supported or mechanical. Apart from the type of the
ventilation inside the cavity, the origin and destination of the air can differ depending mostly on climatic conditions, the use, the
location, the occupational hours of the building and the HVAC strategy. The glass skins can be single or double glazing units with
a distance from 20 cm up to 2 meters. Often, for protection and heat extraction reasons during the cooling period, solar shading
Devices are placed inside the cavity.
Solar Façade: - Photovoltaic (PV) use solar cells to convert the sun’s energy into electricity.
When sunlight hits the semiconductors (solids, such as silicon, that conduct (electricity) in the solar cells, an electrical charge
is generated. The different types of PV include: Mounted PV: panels that are mounted on the roof or walls of a building or on the
ground. Building-integrated photovoltaic BIPV) are photovoltaic materials that are used to replace conventional building
materials in parts of the building envelope such as the roof, skylights, or facades. They are increasingly being incorporated into
the construction of new buildings as a principal or ancillary source of electrical power, although existing buildings may be
retrofitted with similar technology. The advantage of integrated photovoltaic over more common non-integrated systems is that
the initial cost can be offset by reducing the amount spent on building materials and labor that would normally be used to
construct the part of the building that the BIPV modules replace. These advantages make BIPV one of the fastest growing
segments of the photovoltaic industry. The term building-applied photovoltaic BAPV) is sometimes used to refer to photovoltaic
that are a retrofit - integrated into the building after construction is complete. Most building-integrated installations are actually
BAPV. Some manufacturers and builders differentiate new construction BIPV from BAPV.
Building Integrated PV (BIPV): light, flexible, thin sheets of PV that are laid over a thermoplastic roof. Thin film PV is cheaper
but less productive than mounted PV. Tiles: Power light manufactures tiles that can be integrated into a roof and look like
traditional roofing tiles. Lamps & Bus Shelters: Street lamps and bus shelter lights run by solar panels are another option for
solar installations
Curtain Wall: A curtain wall system is an outer covering of a building in which the outer walls are non-structural, but merely keep
the weather out and the occupants in. As the curtain wall is non-structural it can be made of a lightweight material reducing
construction costs. When glass is used as the curtain wall, a great advantage is that natural light can penetrate deeper within the
building. The curtain wall façade does not carry any dead load weight from the building other than its own dead load weight. The
wall transfers horizontal wind loads that are incident upon it to the main building structure through connections at floors or
columns of the building. A curtain wall is designed to resist air and water infiltration, sway induced by wind and seismic forces
acting on the building, and its own dead load weight forces.
Curtain Wall Systems are typically designed with extruded aluminum members, although the first curtain walls were made of steel.
The aluminum frame is typically in filled with glass, which provides an architecturally pleasing building, as well as benefits such as
day lighting. However, parameters related to solar gain control such as thermal comfort and visual comfort are more?

Difficult to control when using highly-glazed curtain walls. Other common infill include: stone veneer, metal panels, louvers, and
operable windows or vents. Copper cladding enables architects to incorporate visually desirable features into building design. On
building exteriors, copper cladded sheets, shingles, and pre-fabricated panels can be cut, routed, sawed, filed, drilled, screwed,
welded, and curved to form complex shapes. A variety of finishes and colors are available. For a description of copper facade
cladding systems,

Curtain walls differ from store-front systems in that they are designed to span multiple floors, and take into consideration design
requirements such as: thermal expansion and contraction; Building sway and movement; water diversion; and thermal efficiency
for cost-effective heating, cooling, and lighting in the building.

Glass wall: there are countless options for wide open space, secure weather protection, and flexible interior areas.
Clean lined glass panels glide effortlessly on precision engineered hardware to create large inviting entrances that seamlessly
Transition indoor and outdoor spaces yet close securely to form a rattle and draft free barrier to winter storms.
Cladding is the application of one material over another to provide a skin or layer intended to control the infiltration of weather
elements, or for aesthetic purposes. Cladding does not necessarily have to provide a water-proof condition but is instead a
control element. This control element may only serve to safely direct water or wind in order to control run-off and prevent
infiltration into the building structure. Cladding applied to windows is often referred to as window capping and is a very
specialized field.

Roofing Systems: 4ftbsys are masters in design of roofs and specialize in solar roofing.
Solar is a common word today thanks to social awareness. We provide state of the art, world class Solar panels and integrate
them to the building systems seamlessly and suggest the system as per client’s requirements.

Refurbishment, Restoration and Over-Cladding: 4FTBSYS can restore your facade with a thermal break section using Low
E/Spectrally selective glasses to provide the end user ease of life.
Three-dimensional Spatial Modeling and Drawings: Designing being one of our passions, we can support any facade/ Engineering
projects with modeling with 3D and 2D Design drawings.
Expanded Metals: Today the world sees expanded metals like Aluminum Mesh as a major building envelope system thanks to
varied designs possibilities.

Tensile Fabric: 4FTBSYS has tie ups with a French giant to supply and Install the best Tensile fabric systems in India at Indian
pricings.

Di –electric Film: - The first in India to provide di-electric film again.
4FTBSYS can help restore your old buildings esp. south facing without destroying your existing structure. Just apply our film an
see the change. The film can also be applied to new structures, needless to say the advantages.
It’s just like your Ray-ban sun glasses. Cools you when you need
