1. You need to bring your calculator with
you to homeroom for the math test.

2. Test Taking Strategies
• Use a post-it note to keep track of where you are on your bubble
sheet.
• On the post-it note, write the number of any problems you weren’t
sure about.
• You must keep your test booklet open and continue to work the
whole time.
• If you finish, go back over the problems that you wrote down on
the sticky note.
• Eliminate the two answers that make no sense to you (normally one
is totally out there)
• With a minute left you should fill in your remaining answers with an
educated guess
• There will be a timer on the board so keep track of your time
• It is better to guess then to leave an answer blank
• Don’t second guess yourself. (People talk themselves out of the
right answer)
