1. Create a positive culture of great team work, acceptance of roles, sportsmanship and
tremendous work ethic.
2. Work hard to make this team as successful as possible.

3. Teach the game of basketball in a positive manner by correcting mistakes and
encouraging the right things.
4. Set a good example in sportsmanship and behavior.
5. Push athletes to their highest potential, both on the court and in the classroom.
6. Communicate with players and parents.
7. Decide who plays on what team. Only 5 can play at a time. Coaches do not play who
they like. They play who they think will help the team be the most successful.
8. Sell the style of play and the roles needed to play that style.
9. Enforce the rules of the Lady Knights basketball program
