  2. Sitting at desk in school...find a great website and what do you do?
  3. Save to your favorites...get put in folders
  4. You go home to work on it at home...nothing you saved at school will be on this computer.
  5. Folders...no way to search And pretty soon you have so many sites in so many folders that it looks like this..
  6. Filing Cabinet - rifle through Downside...what if it is a site about French Geography? Where did I put that? Geography folder? French folder?
  7. Can use multiple tags to label sites so you can search for them later
  8. So, we have this website. What tags might you use to label it to find it later?
  9. Find this great site with all sorts of lessons that connect my French class, with math and history, etc. I want to share it with my colleagues.
  10. Sends it off into our network since we have a group that our faculty belongs to.
  11. As teachers we need to use tools for our own learning and to help us, but we always want to know what the classroom implications are
  12. Now if you want to use a website in class, what do you do? Do you write it on the board? What if your website looks like this? Write that on the board and have students type it in.
  13. So it can also be a tool for you to share sites with your students and for students to share them with each other.
  14. During a project on Europe, a student of mine shared this site with her classmates. And she typed in what this site is useful for. She even put in to do it to prepare for an interview.
  15. Geography project on Darfur...webquest...a site that they had to read and I wanted them to have a way to write down their reactions and share them... heavy topic
  16. So I can put in sticky notes and share them to my class group
  17. then when they log in they can see them and write their own comments. they can see anyone who is in their class group and leaves a comment.
