This document discusses the history of sidecar passenger vehicles, including some specific examples that were engineered for endurance racing or represented modern iterations of the sidecar concept. The Nardi Bisiluro was built for endurance racing like Le Mans. The TARF II was nicknamed the "Twin Torpedo" as the first engine passenger car. Honda also explored modern sidecar concepts with Projects 2 & 4, showing the idea has still persisted as a concept even if it is not commonly used today.
