3. Synopsis of music video
• This will include narrative and performance. This is so both types of audience can
enjoy the video. The visuals will also have a positive relationship with lyrics so that
the audience aren’t confused what the message of the lyrics are.
• So the performance part will be in the style of pop art. There is will be four boxes for
each feature; each eye, nose and lips. The lips will be singing the song yet the other
features will be moving around by themselves. Each box will have a different colour.
The performance section will be repeated throughout the song. This is
intertextuality to pop art and Andy Warhol as the section will be repeated like some
pieces of his work - repeating Marilyn and Campbell soup.
• The narrative section will be some girls having a sleepover showing the audience
that the girls are having fun. It will also show a boys sleepover yet they are all bored.
The girls shots will have a light pink wash over yet the boys will have a grey wash
over to contrast the differences that girls have more fun. They girls will have a pillow
fight then it will pan and show the boys sat on the sofa not talking. This theme of
girls having more fun will carry on to a different shots with different activities like
football, reading, playing instruments and being social at different location.
4. CD & DVD idea
• The digipak will include a CD of new tracks by the artist. The packaging will
also follow the style of pop art like the advert and music video.

• Right cover inside – Nose
• Back – plain solid colour

7. Magazine advert idea
The magazine advert will follow the z formation. This suggests that eye movement
follow the shape of a Z. Usually starting at the top-left corner of the image, then
moving across to the top-right corner, then diagonally down the page to the
lower-left corner, and finally to the lower-right corner.
The artists name will be the top and album name and release date will be at the
bottom. This is minimalistic format so the main focal point is the artists. Because
of this the album will use star appeal to sell the album.
The image will be in the same style as the performance section of the music video
yet with a little difference. The image will be of the artists full face but it will be
repeated and each face will have a different colour. This creates a sort of synergy
between the music video and the advert. Because the image is full on and will
stand out; the album name, release date and artists name will be quite simple yet
bold to show up on the image.
