  1. Here are some things we’ve done in Newton to build relationships… Physical Examples and pictures *Gem Jar – Children vote on a fun reward Ex. – pajama party Children work toward the goal to fill the jar. Add pictures of Tricky Tuesday *Star of the week –*Class mascot*Bucket Notes home
  2. Children are encouraged to use this as a private space to manage emotions.
  3. -Review often.. Use these words in everything you do “You are being so respectful when you hand the blocks to your friend”
  4. -When teaching rules/expectations – show pictures of examples of what these rules might look like
