2. What I know about music you could write on
the back of a postage stamp. I was listening
to an awesome radio interview with Carole
King. She was talking about song writing and
composing and she mentioned that D Flat is
the saddest key of them all. So I went to
google to find out which key is the happy key
and its C Major.
3. So here is a self-esteem building
exercise to move you from D flat
to C major.
Set aside 20 minutes. Get very
comfortable. Put on soothing
music. Close your eyes and
image a spa. Take some time to
slow down your breathing. Be
very calm and quiet.
4. See that spa and create its beauty in your
mind, using your wonderful
imagination. Open a door and enter a
wonderfully relaxing room. You will see a
super comfortable chair. Sit down. You will
notice on wall is shelved with thousands
of recordings. These are all the negative
things said about you or by you in your
lifetime. Beside you there is a big red button
marked destroy. Go ahead and push
it. Watch all those recordings disappear.
5. Now put on the headphones
beside you and listen to a
recording playing on an endless
loop of beauty. Listen to al the
beautiful things about you. When
you open your eyes, write down
some of the beautiful things that
you heard being said about you.
6. You can visit this spa room anytime you
wish. All you have to do is relax, close
your eyes and allow your imagination to
have some fun creating your room.
7. Visit often, you could even
make a recording for yourself
to listen to of beautiful
affirmations.
8. One of the most effective keys to
good self-esteem is self
nurturance. Being kind,
compassionate and loving to
YOU. Once you master that you
can practice on other people. You
can’t give away what you don’t
have, so if you want to feel good,
feel loved and have great self-
esteem………. START WITH YOU.
