Hola a todos. Aquí estamos de nuevo con otra publicación en la que trabajamos la expresión escrita en inglés. En esta ocasión son algunos alumnos de sexto los que nos van a recomendar sitios para visitar en Mojados y en Valladolid ahora que ya podemos salir un poco más. Esperamos que os guste. 2. COUNT’S HOUSE
➢It is a very important building in Mojados of the
XV century.
➢It’s located on the Santa Maria’s square.
➢I recommend it because it is very beautiful.It
was built with big and strong rocks. The door has
got a medium point arch.
➢This house is very important because in 1629 Pedro
de Luna inherited the house from Isabel de Luna,
his aunt, widow of Cristóbal Ponce de León.
➢Pedro sold the house for 500 ducados to Francisco
Morales y Herrera, neighbour of Mojados. It´s had
many place for animals.
➢ Nowadays,the house is only open for taking
wedding photos.

3. The old Bull Ring •It is a very popular place in Valladolid.
• I recommend this place because it is full of
history. At the beginning they were the
houses of the Salinas’s Count but when they
were destroyed it was transformed into the
old bull ring and after that,it was converted
into the Guardia Civil´s place at the end of
the XIX century.
•You can access in through the San Quirce
and San Ignacio’s streets .
•I like it because it is a nice place .
•This place is open until 22 hours(or 10
P.M). It’s free to go in.

4. Carlos V
Museum
This is Carlos V museum.
It´s located on the Santa María´s square
It was opened in 2017,this is the first museum in
Mojados.
I like the museum because you can learn a lot about
history.
It has got many costumes ,explanations and models.
It´s open from Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m to 1 p.m
But it is closed on Mondays.

5. Campo Grande
Valladolid
This is the Campo Grande
It´s a beautiful park located on the
Paseo Zorrilla,the most important
Street in Valladolid.
It was opened in 1787.
I like this park because it´s very
relaxing and natural.
It has got a restaurant and many
animals.
It´s open from Monday to Sunday
from 9:30 a.m to 21:30 p.m
It´s free to go in.

8. MOJADOS
• It´s in Mojados. It´s very interesting because there are many kinds of
trees. I recommend it because is very very nice. It has no opening or
closing times. I´ve been there. It´s free to go in (it has no entry or exit
price).

•THE MAIN SQUARE AT CHRISTMAS:
• This is the main square at Christmas. It´s in the city centre of
Valladolid. It´s very interesting because you can buy things. I
recommend it because it´s very nice. The rides and shops have
opening and closing times.
10. ERMITA DEL SANTO
CRISTO
• This is the hermitage of
Mojados, its name is Ermita
Del Santo Cristo.
• It´s located in Mojados, it is
the smallest church of
Mojados.

• This is the shopping centre Rio

the largest store in Valladolid.

12. Places to visit in mojados
The river
It is a tributary of the Duero river .
It is the place where people go in summer .
Next to the river there is a flour factory and
a beautiful bridge.Where you can fish crabs at
night because it is when the crabs go out.

13. PLACE TO VISIT IN VALLADOLID
The Campo Grande
Campo Grande is a big park in the city cente.It´s a palce where
you can walk , see ducks and other animals.
But you can´t give them any food you can also go in a boat.
AND IT´S ALSO FREE!
Youn can spend the hot days in the city here.
14. • In 1575, Felipe II commanded to build
this bridge. It´s in Mojados.
• It was built to travel from Valladolid to
Segovia.
• It was destroyed and it was rebuilt in
1877 by Mariano Cubero. It´s over the
Cega river.

the town hall of the city.
• The town hall was built in the early 20th
century.

19. MOJADOS: IGLÉSIA SANTA MARÍA
It is a place near the river
where people go to almost
every day, at five or seven.
On Sundays there is a mass
from twelve thirty to one.

23. PUENTE VIEJO (MOJADOS)
In 1575 , Felipe II ordered the construction of the bridge in Mojados.
It was rebuilt in 1877 by Mariano Cubero.
In spring, when it’s hot, people bathe in the river. In summer there is
no water .
