The Cell Therapy Catapult was established by the Technology Strategy Board in 2012 to grow the UK cell therapy industry, increasing health and wealth for all. Cell-based therapies will play a vital role in the next generation of healthcare, and our aim is for the UK to become a global leader in their development and commercialisation. The past decade has shown that there is clear need for sustained translational resources to advance the technologies and products arising from the vibrant early-stage research base, and it is the role of the Cell Therapy Catapult to bridge this translational gap.
