This document outlines several learning targets related to classifying producers, consumers, and decomposers based on their food source, distinguishing how consumers and decomposers obtain energy, identifying examples of populations, communities, and ecosystems, describing common relationships between populations like competition and predator-prey, explaining how populations can benefit each other and become interdependent, predicting how changes in one population can affect others, identifying biotic and abiotic ecosystem components, factors influencing population changes, how humans are part of ecosystems and can alter balances, and predicting consequences of overpopulation like extinction and pollution.
