Description: CitiVelocity provides access to Citi's proprietary ideas, world-class research and a wealth
of knowledge to keep Corporate Investment companies and Financial institutes connected with the
market at all times. Focused to meet the demands of geographically diverse clients as well as the
internal Sales, Trading, Financial Consultants and Research teams who serve them. This includes of
Fixed Income and Equities.
My Major Involvement is in the following modules:
Subscription:
Subscription module allows the user to subscribe to the content published by business users through
authoring tool or through email and Research Content published by CIRA. Users will get the content
delivered at their email address with a deep link to the content in email body.
Cold Spark: Cold Spark is a third party product and Mails distribution system. Enhanced existing ERD
System to construct an XML based on the Subscribers interest. System will generate XML in Cold
Spark understandable format and Sent to cold spark engine. Cold spark system will track number of
mails distributed, tracking of mails (Forwards, replies & unsolicited Mails).Tracking will be done based
on the Sequence number generated while constructing XML file.
Global Authoring - ERD Re Engineering:
The goal of this enhancement is to improve the performance by reducing the time gap between
completions of Global Authoring process and starting of ERD process. This is achieved by
implementing JMS Topic and MDB. While processing publications from CIR, Geo system post the
populated object (PublicationVO) to JMS Topic, Which MDB will pick up and invokes ERD process.
Research Enhancement:
In Existing System publications are removed from GEO via the Pub Deletion Admin Tool. In GEO
System has been enhanced to automate the publication deletion via the global authoring.
Readership:
Current business processes do not include any systematic analysis of how CIRA content is consumed
by Citi clients. The overall objective is to provide the consumption analytics and reports to enable CIRA
and Equities management to understand the impact of research on client profitability and to improve
and target research content. Specific objectives are listed below.
Roles and responsibilities:
Individual contributor and technical guidance to the team.
Involved right from the inspection phase and Discussions with client.

Project Name : OASIS Duration (Jan 2006 to Oct 2008)
Client CPB, Singapore
Technologies java, JDBC 3.0, Servlets, JSP 2.0, Struts
1.1,JMS, Weblogic 8.1,Oracle9i/10G, XML and
UNIX
Description: Online Automated Securities Information System (OASIS) is a web-based application
that consolidates all the assets and liabilities of a margin client and computes the under margin status
for credit monitoring purposes. The application also support credit approval process and has a module
to perform portfolio analysis/MIS functions.
As part of the end of day batch process, system will check the possibility of increasing/decreasing the
existing earmarking to eliminate/reduce collateral shortfalls up-to the Guarantee amount maintained in
a new screen: Guarantee Maintenance. This new screen will be created as part of this enhancement
1. Auto Earmarking: The auto earmarking process is applicable in the case of auto-asset creation
through off-unit screen. Meaning, the auto earmarking process will picks up the portfolios for which an
auto-asset off-unit is created, for those products, which are having a new flag Auto Earmarking Process
as Y in Internal Code Map screen.
2. LV Zero rising: The LV would be adjusted such that clients would not be suffering a shortfall after
the reduction. For clients with sufficient collaterals, LV will be reduced and could be adjusted to 0
(zero).
3. CAS Amortization Schedule Emails Sending: When amortization turned on at the facility level, as
part of the batch system calculates the amortization amount and updates the source facility sub line.
The same logic will be extended to extended sub lines in case of facility extended to elsewhere as part
of batch as well as CA authorization.
Extended facility sub line amount will not be updated if following mappings are maintained. These
mappings are not to download specific facility / sub line to OASIS from CAS level. (System uses these
mappings at the time of OASIS download as well as present Amortization download also)
4. Facility Details Changed: The Details at Facility level changes that would be highlighted to user.
5. CA Delete: New Mode is added to existing application for deleting the existing CA
6. CA Reports: Credit Checklist changes, MSBF RAAC, Facility Details Changes and ESRM-RORC
Changes using IText Jar.
7. CAS Organization Unit: Maintenance screen would be available to the user for adding new
organization unit or modifying the existing units.
8. Exception Monitoring: OASIS to send email directly to concern CS&C stall whenever exception
occurred OASIS to create a one-point Data exception management screen. EOasis will display all data
exceptions under this screen. This screen will display the type, details, date, status, and CS&C staff
responsible of the data exception
Mobile: +65 – 8700 8732 E-mail: chand.chanu@gmail.com Page 6 of 7
7. The CS&C staff resolving the exception, will close the exception if the case is resolved
OASIS system should provide a maintenance screen where the CS&C staff can maintain the following
Type of Exception: Subject of exception with placeholders for transaction fields such as Portfolio
number, RM team, status, amount, reference number etc.
Body of email highlights the exception with placeholder for transaction specific details like reference
number, line number.
Margin Tracking:
1. Segregation of PF based on Shortfall Category, Shortfall Status and Shortfall Amount
2. Segregation of PF based on teams and inclusion of GMM, Business Admin and IFSCO Ids
Margin Man: This enhancement requires MarginMan’s MR720IFS report to display client’s collateral
balance and status in Oasis. In addition, Oasis is to have MarginMan’s exposure details for its
reporting. This change would enable RMs to effectively allocate & monitor collaterals for a portfolio in
relation to margin calls.
Roles and responsibilities:
Team Leaded of size 4.
Involved in Developing Prototypes.
Involved right from the inspection phase.
Identifying Views & Implemented Action classes for Struts Framework.
Designing of front end screens and coding.
Involved in Coding Server pages using JSP.
