20. Koh Larn Island near Pattaya is a little piece of paradise beyond the hustle and bustle of
Pattaya. Although Thailand’s famous beach resort town would not be your first thought
when imagining a cerulean blue sea and a long stretch of pristine beach void of high-rise
buildings and away from the claws of civilization, this little idyllic island offers exactly that
and is just a short ferry ride away from Walking Street.
芭堤雅附近的科蘭島，是芭堤雅喧囂之外的一片天堂。泰國著名的海灘度假地區，雖然都不
是想像中的「藍色大海、長長的原始海灘、沒有高層建築，遠離文明的爪子」，而科蘭島這
個詩情畫意的珊瑚島 就有這些優點，只需要從碼頭乘坐短程渡輪就能到達。
Koh Larn Island (Coral Island) is situated 7.5 km west of Pattaya Beach. It has long been
an alternative retreat for those who have become jaded with Pattaya’s overdeveloped and
overcrowded beaches. Since the island is not so far away, visitors can easily go there in the
morning, stay for several hours and then come back to Pattaya Beach in the late afternoon.
科蘭島 (珊瑚島) 位於芭堤雅海灘以西7.5公里處。長期以來，由於芭堤雅過度開發和海灘擁

In the past, this beach is quite popular, but but since Tawaen Beach constantly becomes
more popular, this beach is seen less popular.

Visitors take a bus about 15-20 minutes from Naban to Tayai Beach.

Ta Yai Beach is so small that visitors can walk from one side to the other side within a
few minutes. The beach is pretty quiet as not many tourists visit this place, the waves
are not great for swimming, and there is only one bar / restaurant here. The seawater at
this beach is really beautiful and clear. No accommodation available at Ta Yai Beach at
all
塔亞海灘 比較小，遊客在幾分鐘內就可以從一端走到另一端。因為沒有太多的遊客到裡，
海灘很安靜，海浪不是很大適合游泳，這裡只有一家酒吧餐廳。海灘的海水真的很清澈，
美麗。但是 塔亞海灘 沒有投宿之處。
This is a nice little beach and it doesn’t seem to get very crowded, it’s a nice place to
spend an easy day for those who need the atmosphere.
這個小海灘不錯而並不擁擠，是個適合需要氣氛的人，輕鬆度過一天的好地方。
