Dioramas retelling november 2011
- 2. We have been learning to write a retell of a traditional tale. • Firstly, we chose which traditional tale we were going to write about – • The Billy Goats Gruff or • The Three Little Pigs. • Then we painted our background on our box. • Next we wrote our retell of our traditional tale. • Then we drew our characters and made any props our diorama needed. This involved a lot of problem-solving and thinking so our characters would fit into the scene we were creating. • Finally, we needed to re-read our published stories so we could place our props and characters into our diorama so it accurately re-told our story. • We are all very proud of our learning and our finished dioramas.
- 3. The Three Little Pigs The wolf went to the pigs house. The pigs were running away from the wolf.
