• Students will learn the use of GarageBand to
create online audio stories.
• Classwork – How to write your first podcast.

7. Think – Pair - Share
• What is a podcast? For homework you were
to listen to two profession podcast. In your
areas discuss the podcast you listen to for
homework. Write down (in your notebook)
• What did they cover?
• What did you like about them?
• Share your ideas with the class.

9. What are you doing after the Atomic

• Review your notes
• Give the editors copies of your “print” story
• Type the script for your pod-cast
– Read the script to another class member
– Re work parts that do not sound right
– Give the updated script to Mr. Dizard
• Those with passes can record their pod cast in
the library.

10. What are the steps in creating a pod cast
using Garageband
• Step 1: creation of a script
• Step 2: adjust output and input levels
• Step 3: record (the controls are same as the
DVD player)
• Step 4: export as an mp3
• Step 5: Save to your Hard drive or a flash
drive
