Defining Simple Guiding Principles for
effective learning
Task 1: What have you learnt from the past? Build a
model that captures one specific learning point. Add a
short caption.

Task 2: Bring all models together and vote for the most
important learning points to become Simple Guiding
Principles for effective learning.
Task 3: Invite students to reflect on the Simple Guiding

  • 8. Task 1: Build a tower Task 2: Build a model following the instructions Task 3: Modify your model to capture the importance of learning for you. When sharing introduce yourself also to the group.

  • 11. LSP: My identity as a learner
  • 12. Task 1: Build a model of who you are as a learner Task 2: What is your main strength?
  • 14. Task 1: Build a model of the ideal learner Task 2: Identify 1 factor that matters most to you? Task 3: Create a shared model of your ideal learner
  • 16. Task 1: Write about an event that happened to you as a student. Task 2: Play out key events and discuss impact of these to your identity as a student.
  • 17. Defining Simple Guiding Principles for effective learning
  • 18. Task 1: What have you learnt from the past? Build a model that captures one specific learning point. Add a short caption. Task 2: Bring all models together and vote for the most important learning points to become Simple Guiding Principles for effective learning. Task 3: Invite students to reflect on the Simple Guiding Principles and the potential impact of these on learning.
