3. location
The location of the film is in the river/woods/mountain/cave. The
scenery tells us that our characters enjoy the out doors as in the
first scene they’re rafting and later on they go caving
The one location that is indoors is the hospital where Sarah is taken to
after her family accident.
4. Hair and make up
The girls through out the film have no
make up and are very natural looking
through out because they’re in the
woods and doing out door activities
the times where do see make up is
when the girls get injured.
Most of the make up was used on the
Crawlers as their features are made out of
Prostatic make up.
5. Acting
The acting of the crawlers is very different to that of the girls as the
crawlers are not human but instead animals of the dark. they are
blind and use sound and sense of smell to track there prey and
maneuver their selves around the cave. The crawlers can stand
like humans but as their name suggest they mainly crawl to get
around.
7. Explain the light
The night light is used because the cave is very dark and the
images they see on the camera is what we see this makes it more
realistic.
The natural light is used to show that every thing is fine and
normal as it should be and informs us that we are in the day.
The torch light is used to represent the reality of what it feels like
to be inside that cave with every 1 and it shows that every one
sees what they can see with their light and rely other torches to
see more info because the more torches there are more they can
see.
The light is in a circle formation making the light evenly distributed
and shining on one persons face while the back ground is fully
black sowing us that this character is important.
