fight for justice for those at risk.

Services and activities
All family support programs value, respect, empower, and help parents
to obtain the knowledge and resources they need to raise healthy
children who will become productive adults.
5. Health: CHDP/ Health referral, nutrition and health education, birth
classes and family life education.
Counseling: individual and family alcohol and drug support groups,
women support groups.
Family services includes: case management, parent education and skills
training, services for families in crisis, gang awareness and prevention
education, TApP(teenage parenting program)
8. The mission of the Woodlake family resource center is to increase our
children’s chances of success in school and life by providing a system of
services which are easily accessible, comprehensive, culturally sensitive,
and responsive to our children and their families “unique needs”.

enhance human well being and alleviate poverty, oppression, and other forms of
social justice.
Social workers helping techniques must be in a disciplined manner to address
social problems.
Programs affirm and strengthen families’ cultural, racial, and linguistic identities
and enhance their ability to function.
Programs advocate with families for services and systems that are fair, responsive,
and accountable to the families served.
Staff and families work together in relationships based on equality and respect.
