Christ the Redeemer is a statue art deco depicting
Jesus Christ , located on top of Corcovado
Mountain , 709 meters above sea level , in the
Tijuca National Park, overlooking most of the city
of Rio de Janeiro , Brazil . In 2007 he was elected
informally as one of the new seven wonders of the
world. In 2012 UNESCO considered the Christ
Redeemer as part of the landscape of Rio de
