8. Green Open Access
The University of Groningen and the University Medical Center Groningen both want to
promote open access of their research output via the green OPEN ACCESS road, and
asks her researchers therefore to deposit their "final author versions" of their
articles into the research database Pure
The workflow aims to minimize the effort for the researchers, where the library will do
the rest (University of Groningen Library & Central Medical Library)
(Policy document discussed and approved by CvB & RvB)

• The library (the CMB for UMCG) takes care of:
─ Entry in Pure
─ Validates & completes metadata

version of the publication ( and we will take care of the rest)
