What is this project?
 Teacher professional development project
focused on reinvigorating teaching practice in the
areas of:
 Instructional design
 E-learning
 Assessment
Why is this project being conducted this
semester?
The results of a 2009 TQR skills audit
highlighted that teachers wanted to learn
more about:
instructional design
e-learning
assessment
The aims of this project?
 Provide timely support and learning and development
options to teachers to reinvigorate their current teaching
practice in a small work based project
 Identify and explore the use educational technology such as
video-streaming web-conferencing and other tools such as
my.tafe and resource Bank when designing learning for clients
 Provide varied PD support by providing funding, coaching,
mentoring and sourcing other identified PD strategies for
staff across TQR Institutes
 Clarify needs, communicate and connect teachers across
TQR, collaborate where possible and create ways in which
staff can learn with and from their TQR colleagues to
enhance teacher capability.
