POSSIBLE FUTURE PLANS : STRUCTURE We express POSSIBLE future plans with the following structure… EXPECT (Esperar) HOPE (Añorar – Esperar – Tener esperanza) INTEND (Tener la intención) PLAN (Planear) A verb in INFINITIVE PRESENT PERFECT Examples: By this time next year, I hope to have started a new business (Para este momento en el próximo año, espero haber empezado un nuevo negocio) “To start a new business” is a POSSIBLE future plan. It might or might not happen.
