1. RURAL FARM

2. Natural conditions in Podlaskie provice are not very
good development of agriculture.Vegetational period
is very short and lasts about 190 days. There are
also weak soils, so we’ve got mostlu grasslands and
pasture. Thus, breeding of cattle is led on this
area.

4. In Podlasie province there are about 107 thousand rural
farms. The least numbers of the farms are farms of the
surface below 2 ha. Nowadays the number of farms between
50 to 100 ha significantly increases.

5. There are three types of farms in Podlaskie province:
Traditional
SPECIALIZED
AGROTOURISTIC

6. Traditional farm
Farm of small surface, with multidirection specialization,
traditional family farm. Majority work is done manually. People
produce things only for personal needs.

7. Their number dicreases all the time
because they ae not efficient enough. All
the products are healthy.

8. Specialized farm
Specialized farms are mechanized and assigned for
production of articles needed by the market.

9. Thus, so, milky direction is popular in podlasie province The
products ,ade by Mlekovita, Piątnica, Mlekpolare are known in
Poland and abroad. They are exported to Great Britain,
Denmark, Finland, Russia, Lithuania and Belorussia.

10. Agricultural farm
This farm offers relax time in village conditions. Can be joined with work with
people assuring accomodation. Treated as alternative source of job for village
inhabitants.

11. This is the form of the tourism .
