3. Słowiński National
Park
Słowiński National Park was founded on 1 January Logo of this park
1967. It surface is 327,44 km². The park was
included in the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and
in 1995 it was added to the list of protected areas.
The Park is located in the North part of Poland. Seven
rivers flow throught the area of the park. The biggest
river is Łeba and this river falls to Łebsko lake. There
are 12 reserves on the area of park.

The characteristic elements of
the park are spits with shifting sand
dunes, coastal lakes, coastal forests
and woodlands.

Grebe
The most important animals on this area are
birds. Scientists have classified about 260
species of birds.On the bank of the lake we
can see swans , ducks, grebes.
In the forest we can see
Owl white-tailed eagles, owls
or deers.

6. Tourism in Słowiński National Park
Slowinski National Park is often visited by tourists because there are spits with
shifting sand dunes and protected species of plants and animals. There are very
interesting hiking trails . The length of hiking trails is 140 kilometers. The
tourists come to this park because there are beatiful views for example Łącka
Top or go to the trip on ship on lake Łebsko.

8. *Białowieski National
Park

Białowieski National Park is in podlaskie
voivodeship it was founded on 1932, and its area
is 105,17 km². In each years this place visits 140
thousand people. Białowieski National Park known
for its protection of the best preserved part of the
Białowieski National Park where lives largest
population of European bison libertarian. Strictly
Protected Area Białowieski National Park in 1979
because of significant importance for the culture
and heritage of mankind, inscribed on the
prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List.

-Flora
Biebrzański National Park is the
best preserved natural forests in
the European Lowland. More than
two thirds of the park is covered
by forests deciduous. The largest
area is covered by forests
hornbeam forests (oak-
hornbeam), which grow on the
fertile soils of the forest. Overall,
Flora Park has more than 1,000
species of plants, including 728
species of vascular plants, 277
species of lichens.

10. Białowieski National Park
–Fauna
Białowieski National Park is the habitat for the vast as our
climate zone number of animal species. Previously found in the forest
presence of more than 12,000 species of animals, including
invertebrates predominate, especially insects (8 000 species). In
addition, there exists 120 species of birds, 7 species of reptiles and
11 species of amphibians. Białowieski National Park now lives about
750 bison (of which about 440 on the Polish side), from 3000 all over
the world, all come from Białowieża breeding.

11. For the Białowieski National Park each year comes around
140 000 tourists. Most interestand objects are Bison reserve,
museum BPN and BPN Strictly Protected Area. In this area there
are trails available for Jagiello Oak. In distance of Protection
Hwoźna run two marked walking and cycling. In the valley
Narewka tower has built to observe the animals.
