respondents via two separate online surveys and
tested it via a few face-to-face interviews.

4. Findings: Offering coupons is good for attracting users, given deals
must be good (obviously) and UI must be neat n clean.
5. Findings: Coupons will also help restaurants with lower
ratings to improve their quality or to survive.
6. When it comes to interacting with the Food Compass app at a
restaurant (to capture user data), 15/31 respondents indicated
that they’d want an incentive (ie. coupon/deal) to do so.
7. Overview
Based on the limited research, the Food Compass
could benefit from the inclusion of deals/coupons,
especially when it comes to incentivizing users to
interact with the Food Compass (for data collection).
