1. Transforming Learning Spaces to Enhance
the User Experience
In 2016, the James Hardiman
library at NUI Galway
underwent a staff restructure,
whereby, the former model of
the subject specific teams was
transformed into an academic
skills team.
This team provide front line
support and training to all
students both face-to-face and
online.
The academic skills team are
currently working on
developing a learning commons
to promote visible learning and
new collaborative possibilities
to engage students on their
learning journey.
