Stylish robust luminaire for commercial and general applications
vennelux
pro-linea
vx180
Base extruded aluminium (6063T6) plus 2 die-cast
aluminium end caps (1 fixed). Extruded Aluminium gear
tray hinged with quick release feature, white gloss.
A silicon gasket provides seal along the length and at end
caps to base.
Diffuser extruded polycarbonate - clear ribbed u.v. stabilised
fire retardent - incorporates suspension cords for cover
retention.
High frequency ballasts as standard (T5,T8 & L) wire wound
+ capacitor (T8 option). Fused plug and socket connection.
Fixing holes to secure to mounting surface directly with rear
cable entry and B.S. mounting.
Back entry (centred) as standard AB through entry to order.
Emergency control gear + batteries integral.

EPILUX CORNICE ROTOLUX CORNICE
Angular Trunking
The introduction of 45° mounting trunking
converts Epilux and Rotolux to fixed
direction fittings on wall, ceiling and
cornice.
Supply
For an individual luminaire the trunking
length is supplied with 2 Blank end caps
as standard which are drive fit to trunking
ends.The length is identical to the overall
length of the fitting.The colour is matched
to that chosen for the luminaire.
The mountings come as standard with the
trunking.
For multi-fitting mounted trunking, lengths
of 1.9 metres are supplied for the required
run. Plain infills supplied in lengths to suit
installation parameters.
Mounting
For mounting an individual fitting each
trunking piece is drilled for both wall and
ceiling fixing.
A studded plate is fitted by taptite c'sunk
screws to the trunking and luminaire
secured to the plate by nuts and
lockwasher.
Options
Luminaire end caps can be supplied with
secret head captive screws.
Additionally a 20mm clearance hole can
be punched through the end cap on site
for conduit and locknut connection.

Diffusers and gear trays in
suspension.
Fittings wired and lamped ready
for diffuser closure.
End caps fitted and installation

Cornice mount.
Angular Trunking
The introduction of 45° mounting trunking
converts Epilux and Rotolux to fixed
direction fittings to wall, ceiling and
cornice mounting.
Supply
The trunking length is supplied with 2
Blank end caps as standard which are
drive fit to-trunking ends.
The colour is matched to that chosen
for the luminaire.
Options
Luminaire end caps can be supplied with
secret head captive screws.
Additionally a 20mm clearance hole can
be punched through the end cap on site
for conduit and locknut connection.
Mounting
For mounting an individual fitting each
trunking piece is drilled for both wall and
ceiling fixing, and supplied with 2 x No.6
Rawlbolts.
A studded plate is fitted by taptite c'sunk
screws to the trunking and luminaire
secured to the plate by nuts and
lockwasher.
The mountings come as standard with
the trunking. Refer to illustration.

EXISTING INSTALLATION
The standard spanpass is designed for a
chamfer length from 180 to 250mm at 45°
(bespoke versions are available)
Chamfer length
The construction comprises both a front and end section together with several fixed length trunking sections which house lamp(s)
and control gear.
All bolt together to form an almost seamless installation of excellent visual quality.
The exposed areas are produced to withstand substantial vandal attack, metalwork 1.6+2.0 mm thick whilst the diffuser is 4mm
thick vandal resistant opal polycarbonate. Increased thickness of panel to 6mm can be specified where necessary.
Each section is packaged as a sub-assembly to ensure simple and speedy installation with pre-wired facility to the control gear
mounted to the gear trough.
Testing of the installation can be carried out before applying screw down of the suspended diffuser panel assembly to the trunking.
Finish is standard RAL 9010 white gloss whilst other colours can be supplied to specification for matching colour schemes.
Materials : Mild steel body and diffuser frame - Opal polycarbonate diffuser - High frequency control gear.
All metalwork pretreated prior to powder coating.

pressure die-cast aluminium pretreated and polyester finish

Clear or opal prismatic moulded uv stabilised polycarbonate
diffuser with silicone sponge gasket seal. Secured to casing by
stainless steel slotted screws with secret screw option.
Both switch start and HF ballast options are available with
ballast capacitor and ignitor for discharge.All control gear
with fused plug & socket connector fitted to gear plate with
reflector to form easily removed chassis assembly.
Luminaire secured to mounting surface directly from 4 fixing
holes with rear cable entry by knockout with B.S. box fixings.
Supplied with 20mm ET threaded holes AB plugged.

Injection moulded prismatic clear fire retardent
polycarbonate diffuser complete with tamperproof
screws with slotted screws as option. Silicone gasket
provides seal between diffuser and casing.
High Frequency, switch start and discharge ballasts
are utilised according to lamp format.
Fused plug & socket connection mounted on gear
plate with reflector to form easily removed and
inserted chassis assembly. Finish in white gloss.
Emergency gear integral.
All cabling high temperature restistant.
Holes to secure to mounting surface directly with

Security and amenity
Quorum's brightest feature however is the aforementioned
unique 'pluggable' electronic control module which transforms
the basic function of the luminaire into one of security and a
personal convenience. To connect the fitting simply plug in
one of the four module options (SEN, LUX, DIG or TRI), to give
the required function. What's more a single module will slave
a further 5 Quorum luminaires.
Unique circuit bridge
Another unique feature is the bridging plug which
completes the mains circuit for normal lamp functions
but is removed and parked inside the luminaire when a
module is installed. In the unlikely event of a malfunction
re-inserting the mains bridge will re-establish the normal
switch function - so there is no need to take the luminaire
off the wall.

The light gathering lens must be positioned so that it 'collects'
maximum daylight.
Internal application
For use where a number of luminaires are required to be switched on at
a certain light level (Lux) pre-set on the control unit. When the Lux level
improves to the upper pre-set Lux level at the control unit, the installation
will switch off.
External application
The purpose of this control - situated externally - is to associate the
pre-set external Lux level with the desired internal Lux level switch on
for a group of luminaires within an area or level within a building.
Equally when the switch off Lux threshold is realised by the control unit,
all lighting is extinguished.
Sentrico Person Detection
SEN (module external and hard wired)
The use of a remote control unit for movement detection in this
application both Internally and Externally is primarily for convenience.
Using such a system can provide multi luminaire illumination for tunnels,
passages, corridors and larger areas with restricted entries without the
need for separate switching. Luminaire remains on for 5 minutes after
the last detected movement.
A 24 hour version is available which operates in both daylight and
darkness with 15 minute ON period after last movement.
Sheltered exposure to the elements is recommended when used
externally.
Installations must comply with I.E.E. wiring regulations with regard to maximum earth fault loop impedance checks.

Dual applications for compact luminaire.

PIR - Dusk to Dawn & Mains only
Die-cast aluminium alloy case and gear tray both pretreated
and powder coated. Case in Black textured,White textured
and Grey gloss, with gear tray in white gloss. Silicon gasket
in case provides seal.
Diffuser U.V. stabilised clear or opal polycarbonate screwed
to case with stainless steel slotted or secret head captive
screws.
Control gear mounted to hinged gear tray fitted with fused
plug and socket connector.Wire wound ballast with capacitor
or EHF ballast option.
Entries surface ACD with knockout plug and back by
knockout with B.S. box fixing secure direct to mounting
surface.
Module options Dusk to Dawn LUX29 and P.I.R. Sentrico
SEN29 for 2x9W PL lamps are fitted within the luminaire.

Luminaire fitted direct to mounting surface. Entry
20mm ET (AB plugged) plus back by knockout
