Teaching others and spending time practicing a subject helps develop a deep understanding of it. Having a mentor to provide guidance and making mistakes while learning allows understanding to grow and new problems to be solved. Education should foster flexible thinking to prepare students for an uncertain future. Teachers are artists who cannot be told how to teach their craft and should feel empowered to creatively educate students.
