PORTFOLIO BLOG
Your Foundation Portfolio Blog is very important
because it is assessed work. Your research
and planning, and your evaluation, will be
presented on your blog, and these two
components are worth 40% of the final mark
awarded for the coursework unit. That means
your blog will be worth 20% of your entire AS
level grade!! Make sure it is good!!

3. GO TO
 Visit www.blogspot.com
 If you have a google or yahoo account you can sign in. If not
you have to create one. Follow the instructions.

4. WEB 2.0
 You’ll be asked to create a url name this will be the address of your
blog. Use your name eg. Johndough.blogspot.com. You might have to
put fineartsjohnd.blogspot.com
 You will now have created a blog.You are web 2.0!, you are
facebook,myspace,bebo,twitter,youtube.

5. NICENESS
 Create a nice looking blog by using the
customising tools

6. GET CREATIVE
 Here you can adjust and be as creative as you like.
Remember you gain marks for creative use of blog.

7. CHECK IT OUT
 Check out the fine arts media blog and all the other
media blogs out there.

8. THREE BLOGS
You now need to set up three blogs for the following:
 Coursework
 TV Drama
 Film Industry
Click on dashboard to create a new blog.

9. LEARN TO DO
Exercise:
Post the following on your three blogs.
 URL - A link to another site
 Picture
 Embed - The content of a web page that can be seen on
your blog
Each item chosen must be related to the topic of the blog.
Use youtube/bbci/4od/pictures from google/images etc

New Post
COPY/PASTE URL
EMBED
PUBLISH
