To get the most out of studying it you must be prepared to participate fully in lessons, so we expect you to: ask and answer questions, contribute to class discussions, work with others and complete ALL writing tasks.,[object Object]

We expect you to do ALL the work that you have been asked to complete and to meet ALL the deadlines that we set. We expect you to respond positively to feedback we give you on your work and to set yourself targets for improvement. ,[object Object],[object Object]

You can expect: organisation We will organise the course so that you have the best chance of obtaining the highest grade you can. You will be given handouts, texts, summaries of each module, and copies of past examination papers, as well as material on how to read and write Philosophy.

You can expect: homework We will give you clear guidelines for handing in your work and you can expect your work to be marked thoroughly and to be returned to you promptly. We will help you to identify what you need to do to improve the standard of your work and help you to set realistic targets to make sure you reach your full potential in the subject.

You can expect: encouragement If you are unclear about anything, or are having problems with particular aspects of your work, you can expect us to work with you on resolving them.
