The Government of Pakistan has adopted a holistic strategy for sustainable climate compatible development in collaboration with international organizations. The Department of Forest in Sindh set a Guinness World Record for planting over 847,000 saplings. The document calls for forming Pakistan Green Scouts this year under the leadership of Mian Imtiazur Rasheed or Farooq Sattar to promote energy efficiency and sustainable practices.

Record for planting 847,256 plus saplings
in Thatta district on 22 June 2013. It is a
matter of pride for whole country and
world. Prime Minister’s Energy Savers
Program has got recognition especially in
FATA. Government of Punjab has asked for
innovative ideas in the field of energy
efficiency and fuel efficiency. Tens of
millions Pakistani households and
restaurants should use energy-efficient
cooking stoves. Pakistan Green Scouts
must be formed in current year under
dynamic leadership of Mian Imtiazur
Rasheed or Farooq Sattar.
