1. Checking out Kindle e-books
from Dallas Public Library

2. Click on “Add to cart” next to Kindle Book

3. Review your check-outs to ensure that you have selected the Kindle
version. If you want to add more items to your cart, click on “Continue
Browsing”. If you are ready to checkout, click on “Proceed to Checkout”.

4. Review your checkouts and change the lending period if desired. Once
you have reviewed your cart, click on “Confirm Check Out”.

5. Click on “Get for Kindle”

6. Click on “Get library book”

7. Enter email address for Amazon account and password

8. Select device to deliver book to. Click on “Continue”

9. Confirmation that your item will be sent to your Kindle device or app.

10. Returning Kindle e-books early

11. To return e-books early, log into your Amazon account. On the “ Shop All
Departments” tab, select “Kindle”. Menu will appear and select “
Manage Your Kindle”

12. Find the title you want to return. Click on “Actions”.

13. Select “Return the book”. E-book will be checked in from your e-book
account. Delete item from Kindle.
