2. BHAGAVAD GITA
• The Bhagavad Gita, often referred to as the Gita, is a 700
verse Hindu scripture in Sanskrit that is part of the Hindu
epic Mahabharata.
• Bhagavad Gita means “Song of the Spirit, Song of the Lord”.
• The Gita is set in a narrative framework of a dialogue
between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide and
charioteer Lord Krishna.

3. MANAGEMENT
• “Management is an art of getting things done through
and with people, efficiently and effectively.”
• Management involves planning, organizing, staffing,
directing and controlling human efforts.

स य्रर्ा ं कु रुते लोकस्तदनुवतमते ||21||
Whatever the leader (manager) does, others also do the same.
Whatever standards he sets forth, the values he embodies are
hailed as the model by his subordinates, staff members. So he
must ever be vigilant in performance of his duties.

the war.

doer of good ever ends in misery’. Every action shouldproduce results:
good actionproduces good resultsand evil begetsnothing but evil.
Therefore always act well and be rewarded.
