FALL 2011
Accepted TRiO-SSS students should plan to attend a minimum of 2 workshops per
semester. All workshops are held in the Student Activities Center in rooms 1138 and
1139 on the campus of Cleveland Community College.
Sept. 14 11:30-1:00 Money Matters
Sept. 16 9:30-11:00 This workshop will help you to look at life
spending basics and provide you a different
perspective on how to spend your money.
Sept. 15 2:30-4:00 Building Good Credit
Ed Gilliam from Alliance Credit Counseling will
discuss the importance of building good credit.
Oct. 12 11:30-1:00 Myers-Briggs Assessments
Oct. 13 2:30-4:00 Students will complete a personality
Oct. 14 9:30-11:00 assessment and gain insight into potential
careers.
Nov. 16 11:30-1:00 Overcoming Math Anxiety
Nov. 17 2:30-4:00 Solomon Willis, CCC Math Instructor, provides
strategies for students to overcome math
anxiety.
Nov. 18 9:30-11:00 Be Your Best on Tests!
Amy Davis, Student Success Center Director
and ACA Instructor, provides students with test
taking tips and strategies.
