Group B: Two, Lauren, Jessie, Slava, Jo, Gracia - 05.12.15
To identify a particular kind of product, service, organization,
activity or concept that has not been branded.
To try to explain why it hasn’t been branded.
To suggest how branding could work in that arena.
Prisons are intrinsically negative - both for inmates and the general
population of ‘citizens’. Prison is lik a “shameful secret”, something to
keep hidden, against one of the main role of branding which is to
bring attention. There are a like Guantanamo Bay and Alcatraz, like
Alcatraz.
Federal facility, taxpayer is unlikely to tax payers‘ cost want to contrib-
ute financially to this type of project.
Prison is like a shameful don’t want to recruit ‘loyal customers’ There
are a few like Guantanamo Bay.
