2. Introduction Since the stone age, Chinese civilizations have shown great use of art within their early cultures. What started out as pottery and clay has come to the great art the Chinese portray today.

4. -At first, pots were made plain, then they started painting is with simple designs of geometric shapes and sometimes human faces. -(1766-1122 BC) the Chinese learned how to use bronze in their art, tools, silverware, jewelry and weaponry. -They made jars and plaques using bronze to honor the gods (During the Shang dynasty). -When the Chou dynasty took place, the Chinese made it more common to see long inscriptions on jars and plaques dedicated to their ancestors. -the jars were usually shaped like animals.
5. -In the Chou dynasty, those who were wealthier than others used silverware made out of bronze to show that they were rich or of a higher social class. -once people started to Notice these types of jars, They started to become More organized and they Started to mass produce These items.

8. -Artists started to paint designs on cups using gold and silver inlays for their paintings. -The Chin dynasty didn’t last long{15 years} since it was a short period of time, there wasn’t enough time for more advances in the arts, so it was hard distinguish Han from Chin art. -The Chin dynasty created a tomb for their Emperor along with statues of the army that protected him.
