13. Tuition Cost Savings The CBC Dual Credit Program offers substantial cost savings vs. classes taken after high school graduation at a community college or a 4-year institution. WHAT IS DUAL CREDIT? *Out-of-District CBC Tuition (with Registration fee) used for comparison purposes – does not include other fees, such as course fees. TAMUK used as example of 4-year Institution.

15. Prior to registration, show qualifying college placement scores on the THEA, ASSET, or ACCUPLACER; or earn exemption with SAT, ACT, or TAKS scores. (Workforce courses do not require college placement scores)
22. Textbooks used must be college level and approved by the college. The student will be responsible for the purchase of textbooks and other supplies, unless the high school has made other arrangements.
23. Students will be limited to a maximum of two college courses per semester, unless granted permission prior to registration by the high school principal and either the CBC Director of Academic Programs or the CBC Director of Workforce Programs.
24. Students will be responsible for following all rules of CBC and their respective high school.

37. SpeechDual Credit Courses These courses may be offered in different locations; such as the high school campus or the college campus. Courses offered on the college campus may be made up of a combination of high school students and college students. These courses may be delivered in a variety of ways: face-to-face (traditional), via the internet, through interactive television, or by a combination of these (hybrid).
50. Certified Nursing AssistantDual Credit Courses Note: Students enrolled in a certificate program of one year or less are not required to take the THEA or other approved college placement test if they have achieved the minimum high school passing scores on the TAKS.
