About… •Founded in 1916 •One of the oldest and largest community foundations •Largest funders of nonprofits in the state of Rhode Island •State’s only community foundation •$41.5 million in grants to over 1,400 nonprofits •Raised $43 million in 2015 •At the end of 2015, total assets stood at more than $790 million.
- 3. About… Kathleen Malin is responsible for all aspects of technology, operations, and facilities at the Rhode Island Foundation. Her department manages all grants processing for the Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2006, Kathleen worked as a network administrator and technology director at public and private schools in Rhode Island and New York and has taught technology for over 20 years.
