Dear Reader (s)
Greetings to you
The simple path silence is prayer, prayer is faith, faith is love and
love is service, the fruit of service is Peace.
Very few fully realize the wealth of sympathy, benevolence, kind-
ness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of
every educator should be to unlock that treasure. As it is rightly
said that “It is better to be a man of values than a man of suc-
cess.”
So I feel working for community service is a noble act which
penetrates deep inside our soul. The initiative drive in the form of
Roti Bank, where Roti and vegetable is donated for the under-
privileged children has created a milestone.
I just want to urge that we must join our hands for the upliftment
of the community as ‘A journey of a thousand miles starts with a
single step.’
Cheers for all the victories and wishes for
all the sweeps yet to come!

Dear Students,
“Kindness does not show only mannerism, it shows that you are Hu-
mane.”
There are a myriad of things the world could benefit from having more
of. Kindness is one of them. When you are a kind person, you are not
only helping others, you are helping yourself too. There is a substantial
scientific evidence that being kind makes you -- happy. Love and
Kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference . It is a
reminder that the world is not at all bad. There are a lot of wonderful
people out there - people who are kind, generous and giving and al-
though we cant stop these awful things happen, we can be kind to one
another and do our best whether it be picking up a coin for someone at
the supermarket or writing a little note to a friend, giving a little gift or
stopping to help a stranger, it may seem little to you but to someone
else it might just make their day. So it is rightly said that no act of

CONNECTING TO CLIMATE- A CLARION CALL TO SAVE EARTH
“I believe in god only I spell it nature”
-Frank Wright
Celebrating Earth Day js a great way to showcase environmental education and
engage the whole school community making a difference to the environment. The day
is a clarion call to each one in the school to be better stewards of the earth.
Keeping this in view earth day was celebrated in the school on 22 April 2016 with
great joy and enthusiasm. The day witnessed many enthralling and exuberant
activities which were euphorically attended by the students. Tree plantation,
card making, rangoli making and science quiz were the highlights of the programme
for the junior wing. Activities like poster making and slogan writing were
organized for the students of classes VII and X respectively to imbibe fine art
skills along with the love for nature. The whole school was filled with
heart-warming and ecologically poignant art works and displays done by students.
The children pledged to save the mother Earth from the threats of global
warming, pollution, deforestation and drought. The initiative was highly
commendable and a way to express how much we care about the future of our planet.

Internationalism, volunteers of AFS ( American Field Services) conducted a workshop
for students of class IX, X and XI in our school premises on 19 April 2016.
“The sky is the ultimate art gallery just above us…”
“Be glad of life, because it gives us the chance to love and to work and to play and to
100k stars".
Rightly quoted by Henry Van Dyke and successfully implemented by the students of our
school wherein they participated in a very informative and exciting workshop in
association with SPACE Organization, titled Rendezvous with the Evening Sky held in
the school premises on 16 April 2016. The interactive session briefed the students about
different phases Of moon and other celestial bodies. Later after the sunset, students
gathered in the main school ground to gaze at the moon , stars and planet Jupiter through
the high resolution telescope installed in the ground.
The breath taking view of planet Jupiter and its moons was a memorable experience.
Children went back home more learned and enthralled after viewing the natural art
gallery being created by God - The Sky.
Soaring the peak of Himalayan Ranges.
Nimesh Sharma, an alumnus grabbed a lifetime opportunity to
join hands with Global Himalayas Expedition in Ladakh from
June 4, 2016 to June 16, 2016 which aimed at establishment of

An Ecstatic trip to Bhutan
A group of 14 students and 3 teachers visited Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the
Himalayas’ eastern edge from June 13, 2016 to June 16,2016. The fine days tour to
Bhutan explored timeless monasteries, fortresses and dramatic topography ranging
from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. The bus journey from Paro to
Thimpu and then to Punakha through Docuhula Pass brought serenity into the tired
eyes.
Everyone was enchanted to see one of the largest Buddha statues gilded in gold. The
students also visited the most beautiful zong in the country which is the a
dministrative centre of Punakha district in Bhutan.

site and temple complex located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley. The trekking
provided a mesmerizing view of forest and hills.
Other feature of the tour was the visit to National Library in Thimpu which was
established for the purpose of preservation and promotion of the rich culture and
