2. About BITSAT 2014
 BITSAT 2014 is the engineering entrance exam




conducted by BITS Pilani.
Candidates shall be selected for courses in
Hyderabad, Pilani and Goa.
Exam shall be conducted in online mode
exclusively.
Date of exam is 14 May to 1 June 2014.
Exam slot can be booked while filling application
form.

3. BITSAT 2014 Exam Pattern
 Duration of the examination - 3 hours.
 Exam Sections: Sec 1: Physics, Sec 2: Chemistry,




Sec 3: English & Logical Reasoning and Sec 4:
Mathematics.
150 MCQs - Physics 40, Chemistry 40, English 15,
Logical Reasoning 10, Math 45
+3 marks for correct and -1 mark for incorrect answer.
Extra 12 questions to students who complete the
exam before 180 minutes.
No alteration in previous answers if 12 extra
questions are chosen.

4. BITSAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria
 Candidate must pass class XII exam with physics,





math and chemistry.
Minimum aggregate marks is 75% and 60% each
in physics, math and chemistry.
Candidate passing before 2012 are ineligible.
Already admitted candidates would be ineligible.
Direct admission to respective board toppers.
Admission on class XII and BITSAT 2014 Score.

5. BITSAT 2014 Application Form
 Online application form can be filled on the official




website of BITS.
The form must be filled and submitted along with
remission of fee via e-challan, net banking or
credit card.
Fees for application is Rs.1900 for male and
Rs.1400 for female candidates.
For Dubai as exam center, pay Rs.3000 extra.
Fill the form and submit before 15 Feb 2014.

6. BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket
 BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket can be downloaded from




official website after entering application number,
date of birth etc.
The link to download hall ticket would be made
available from April 2014.
Admit card must be brought to the exam hall.
Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed
to enter the exam hall.
Admit card must be preserved till the admission
process ends.

7. BITSAT 2014 Result
 Result will be declared within hours of exam





conduction.
Result can be seen on the official website.
In the result, individual scores would be displayed
to the candidates.
Based on the result, a merit list will be created.
Rank card can be downloaded from the official
website later on.
Math, Physics, Chemistry and then Class XII
PCM score would be considered to break tie, in
that order.

8. BITSAT 2014 Cutoff
 Cutoff is the minimum score to be achieved by
candidates to become eligible for inclusion in
merit list.
 Candidate scoring rank below cutoff rank will not
be featured in the merit list.
 Cutoff will be decided by exam board to delimit
the number of candidates in the exam process.
 Candidates can see cutoff to check the feasibility
of getting desired course.

9. BITSAT 2014 Counselling
 In counselling, candidates would be able to mark
options of colleges and courses according to
priority.
 Based on rank, seat availability and reservation
norms, seats shall be allotted to candidates.
 Candidates have to attend counselling with all the
documents and certificates in originals.
 Cutoff marks shall be considered while allotment
of seats is done.
