through the modification of the native
behaviour of the child.

 No country can achieve sustainable economic
development without substantial investment in
human capital.
 Education enriches people’s understanding of
themselves and world.
 It improves the quality of their lives and leads to broad
social benefits to individuals and society.

 In addition it plays a very crucial role in securing
economic and social progress an improving income
distribution.
Role of Education in quality of life
Education is the source of knowledge, skill, capacities.
Education is the light of life.
Education helps to create awareness by removing
misconceptions.
Education helps to attain quality of life, educated people
have quality better than an uneducated person.
Educated people can develop their knowledge and skill
through education.

Importance of education: For quality of life
 Education is very important among all of us, the fact which is
commonly nothing to deny among any.
 It’s the education which transforms a person to live a better
life and more importantly in a socially well being.
 It educates us with all the needed attributes in leading our
life in a proper lifestyle.
 Education does make a remarkable effect on one’s
personality. Getting educated and finally earning a
professional degree prepares you to be a part and contribute
in good organizations, companies or Institutions.

noticeable mark in any of the field.
Family and Education
 One of the strongest and most consistent relationships
in family life education is between education and basic
family needs.
 A family with quality life usually places high priority
on the education of the children.
 An intelligent and educated person to higher
education can overcome his/her problems
accordingly.
 Schooling provides access to higher education later
and provides a person with knowledge that will enable
him/her to support his/her family

toward quality of life.

problems in an effective way.
 The family conflicts due to misunderstanding are less
likely to occur in such families.

 Clearly the educational provisions within any given
country represent one of the main determinants of the
composition and growth of that country’s output and
exports and constitute an important ingredient in
system’s capacity to borrow foreign technology
effectively of workers.
 Example: health and nutrition, and primary and
secondary education all raise the productivity of
workers.

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and
social well being

productivity growth directly by helping children
develop into stronger and healthier adults

afflicted with health problems, some of which stem
from early childhood

 It is a major source of ill health and premature death
in developing counties
 Most of the malnutrition today is of the type known as
PCM (Protein calorie malnutrition)
 Vitamin A deficiency that can cause blindness and
iron deficiency anemia are still very common in many
developing countries.
Causes of sickness and premature
death
 Environmental health problem
 Malnutrition
 Lack of medical care of adequate quantity, quality and
type
These are the causes of sickness and death in
developing countries and they deserve more careful
examination
Environmental sanitation
Contamination of water supply and some times also
food and soil with human waste.
-- This highlights the fact that many of the infection,
parasitic, and respiratory diseases that afflict poor
countries are water borne.
Housing with insufficient space, ventilation and access
to sunlight
-- This promotes the spread of airborne diseases such
as tuberculosis

  • 2. Education meaning Thus education means to lead out, through the modification of the native behaviour of the child.
  • 3. Definition An all round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit” -- Mahatma Gandhi
  • 4. Introduction  No country can achieve sustainable economic development without substantial investment in human capital.  Education enriches people’s understanding of themselves and world.  It improves the quality of their lives and leads to broad social benefits to individuals and society.
  • 5. Cont..,  Education raises people’s productivity and creativity and promotes entrepreneurship an technological advances.  In addition it plays a very crucial role in securing economic and social progress an improving income distribution.

Role of Education in quality of life Education is the source of knowledge, skill, capacities. Education is the light of life. Education helps to create awareness by removing misconceptions. Education helps to attain quality of life, educated people have quality better than an uneducated person. Educated people can develop their knowledge and skill through education.

Importance of education: For quality of life  Education is very important among all of us, the fact which is commonly nothing to deny among any.  It’s the education which transforms a person to live a better life and more importantly in a socially well being.  It educates us with all the needed attributes in leading our life in a proper lifestyle.  Education does make a remarkable effect on one’s personality. Getting educated and finally earning a professional degree prepares you to be a part and contribute in good organizations, companies or Institutions.

Family and Education  One of the strongest and most consistent relationships in family life education is between education and basic family needs.  A family with quality life usually places high priority on the education of the children.  An intelligent and educated person to higher education can overcome his/her problems accordingly.  Schooling provides access to higher education later and provides a person with knowledge that will enable him/her to support his/her family
