been accepted as complete and to state whether or not the project has achieved its goal.

2. Project Acceptance

The Project Manager is authorized to continue with the formal close out of this project.
The closeout process will include a Post-Project Review, documentation of lessons learned,
and release of the Project Team.
Once the closing process is completed the Project Sponsor will be notified and the Project
Manager will then be released from the project.

This section documents whether or not the project has achieved its overall goal.
The project goal has been measured against its success criteria, and the project (has been /
