“WATER CONSERVATION IS
THE NEED OF DAY”
Conservation The Greate Untapped Water
Supply
 Water conservation has historicaly been viewed by main
stream. water industry as stand by or tempoary source of
supply that is typically invoked ,only during time of
drought or other emergancy water shortae. This limitade
view of conservation role ,is both outdated and rapidly
changing.
Mans Water Requirment
 Water is needed in almost all human activity.
 IRRIGATION
 POWER GENERATION
 INDUSTRIES
 DOMESTIC REQUIRMENT
 LIVE STOC MANEGMENT
METHODS OF WATER CONSERVATION
 STATICS
 HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
 IRRIGATION
 INDUSTRIES
 HOSPITILS
 FOOD PROCESSORS
 COOLING TOWERS
 AGRICULTURAL
 SAVE FOREST
 RAIN SENSOR
 SCHOOL/COLLAGE
Rain water harvesting
 In urban area the construction of house foot path, and roads
has left little expose earth for water to soak in part of the
rural areas of india
 Rain water harvesting benefits:-
 Increase water availaibility
 Check the declining water table
 Is environmentally friendly
 Improve quality of ground water [salt]
 Prevent soil erosion
WHERE TO LOOK FOR WATER SAVING
 MOST WATER CONSERVATION MEASURE.
FALL IN TO FOUR BROD AREAS.
 DOMESTIC PLUMBING FIXTURES.
 COOLING AND HEATING.
 LANDSCAPE IRRGATION.
 PROCESSING OF MATERIAL.
AREAS WATER SAVING
 REDUCING LOSSES
[FIXING LEAKY ,FAUCETS AND PIPES.]
 REDUCING USE[ULTRA LOW FLASH
TOILETS,ATOMIC SHAT OFF,ELEMENTING ONCE
THROUGH COLLING.
 REUSING WATER THAT CURRENTLY BEING
DISCARDED.
[USE TREATED RINSE WATER TO IRRIGATE
LANDSCAPING.]
 PROTCTING FOREST
LINK WARER CONSERVATION TO
PROTECT FUTURES SUPPLIES
 AQUIFER AUGMENTION EFFORTS.
 EXPANDING GREEN SPACES.
 ALLOCATING WATER TO SUSTAIN OR RESTORE
REPARIAN AREAS.
 SHORE UP CURRENTCONDITION
 PRESERVE OPTION FOR THE FUTURE.
 WATER USE EFFICIENCY;QUALITY OF LIFE.
IMPROVENT OF UNDERGROUND
STORAGE CAPACITY
 An enormous amunt of water of fresh.water is store
in under ground deposits, it represent accumulation
over the long period of time.
 Collection of water diposited over roof tops.
 Directing to water underground, water table, bore
wells,
 Providing and effecting plant cove rover the soil
surface.
CONCLUSION
 Im so glad that you have been able to ;learn a little
bit.about how we can be helping hand in yhe
conservation of water in our world.
 Taking care of planet is a big responsibility we have only
scartched the surface of conservation of water. We can
bring about change.
 Not only with water ,but with air, land, energy, wasteand
other even though.youy bhave complitade this task do
not stop here.
 I encourage you to try and find out the ways.you can
help your community to become active in conservation
get involvedand dig deeper for life.
Thank you!
